ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2018 Submission.
The artist began creating art at a very early age; drawing, painting and designing as soon as she could hold a pencil. Weekends were spent sitting at the kitchen table with brushes and pencils bringing into being her artistic visions.
Growing up, family vacations were spent on the Eastern Shore of Virginia fishing, crabbing and beach combing. She was taught about the importance of caring for our environment, and she has a true appreciation for nature. The artist has seen first-hand the effects of toxic pollutants poisoning our waterways, our Chesapeake Bay and our oceans which is jeopardizing our earth, its inhabitants and humanity. Knowing change is needed, she wanted to share her love and respect of our Earthly home. Inspired by Gods beautiful creations, she creates outside the expected art arena utilizing what speaks to her. Her artistic creations range from traditional to non-traditional, 2D/3D and contemporary. Natural earth inspirations bring the artists assemblages to life!
