My artwork is of an Anaimalai Flying Frog. These frogs are critically endangered, their main threat being habitat loss due to the clearing of land for plantations and timber harvesting. They live in the tropical evergreen forests of India and are often found in the lower canopy. The Anaimalai Flying Frog is called a flying frog because they are able to glide from tree to tree using their large webbed hands.
