A mother-daughter portrait of Bella and Lela, Javan Gibbons at Greensboro Science Center. This spring I decided to focus on animals and what better than endangered animals to start with. My intention is to realistically capture through painting the moment I feel a connection with my subject. This past year I have focused on animals, birds, and some amphibians in local zoos that I would like to bring public awareness and support from the benefit of my paintings.
