SUBMISSION: Endangered Babies: Sea Turtle by Lise Yust

Embroidery threads - full-size, embroidered, fleece, crew neck garment. As an artist, an embroiderer and an animal lover, it was just the right thing to do to create these adorable babies. (with some of the proceeds of sales going towards the wwf) with a very basic digitizing system each animal is actually drawn with thread, stitch by stitch to create that personal realistic design.

Lise A. Johnsen Yust was born in Moncton, Newbrunswick ,Canada. After graduating high school I owned and operated my own art gallery in Belleville, Ontario, Canada for 4 years before moving to Florida to teach art classes.

I was the 1998, 1999 and 2000 sponsor artist of the year for the state of Florida for the ducks unlimited organization. Just recently I joined the Hughes Gallery in Boca Grande Florida where my work is currently on display. I work primarily in acrylics and watercolor but enjoy branching out into pastel and pen and inks. My subject matters range from wildlife and scenery to portraits and still life. I enjoy painting realistically paying close attention to detail and color
