SUBMISSION: Their Eyes Don’t Lie by Israel Soria

Their Eyes Don’t Lie by Israel Soria. All Rights Reserved. We are all a piece of the puzzle of life. Trafficking in great apes, human arrogance and greed have led man to hurt fragile souls to the point of extermination. Orangutans are some of these fragile souls, they do not have malice, and though strong, they are no match for the greed of man - they are helpless. Eyes do not lie in any living being. They tell us that their only wish is to be left alone, to live in peace to reproduce. My drawing captures the noble soul of these beautiful beings. Their eyes tell me that they still have hope, that they want to be on this planet for years to come, so that other generations see their beauty as well. Orangutans are undoubtedly one of the most fascinating species cohabiting with us. RESPECT THEIR LIFE!

This drawing was made with graphite pencils on opaline cardboard.
