I regard art as a restorative pastime. By intuitively applying many layers of paint I add depth and body to my paintings. I usually work on several bodies of work concurrently, which allows me to create some space in time to gain perspective on individual works, and revisit them. Much of my work is inspired by my travels, and primarily, the beautiful California coast.
