Work, effort, destruction and creation permeate my artistic process which emerges from a desire to preserve traditional metal working traditions while simultaneously accessing isomorphic tendencies. Each piece, being hand made by the artist, drives an aesthetic that relies on longitudinal extrapolations of inner vision coupled with external realities. My process utilizes alternative materials to create unexpected textures on silver and gold, leaving only a ghostly presence forever embedded in precious media. It is the ephemeral nature of emotion that binds objects with memory in my work. In managing the infrastructure that composes the architecture of my compositions, I take measured risks in delving into the fractured reality of what defines bodily adornment.
