These panels suggest the the delicate balance of these species being a shadow of what they once were. These portraits illuminate the problem and their threat of extinction By exploring new media, I have developed a process, “painting with fire”. combining sculpture, painting and photography to produce multifaceted pieces. These sculptural reliefs and flat screens hold images burned into copper screening which create haunting shadows, translucent images and images and reflective imagery.
