In 1963 only 417 pairs of eagles remained in the US. 50 years later, with the help of the Endangered species act, numbers are now over 10,000. A symbol of hope that we can prevent the loss of any species." Joseph Mandala, 24, is a world landscape and nature photographer from Jacksonville, Fl. After serving 5 years of honorable service in the U.S. Navy and traveling to over 23 countries, he is now pursuing his dream to take his photography to the professional level at the University of Florida.
