This play on a polar bear and Ice cream fusion 'bears' a lighthearted take on Global Warming by insinuating the polar bears as the cherry on top. With rising ocean temperatures and ice caps melting the extinction of polar bears seems to be the garnish of a recipe for disaster.

Cheetah are very vulnerable. Only about 7200 wild cheetahs. Two cheetah brothers recently translocated into reserve in South Africa. Closed reserves must diversify bloodlines every 2-3 years. New male cheetahs are brought in and current cheetah are moved to another location. One brother has a radio collar so they can be monitored to track progress in finding territory.Then collar removed.

Eagle is arrogant and uninhibited it has a proud standing posture and boundless sky. But now many eagles are used for commercial purposes and they have been brutally domesticated erasing their stubbornness and arrogance. They lost the courage to look at freedom and the eagle in my eyes is the black flame whistling in the field so I drew this frame to give the eagle a prey scene with a temperament above the crowd in nature.

I used watercolor to paint this black panther in the jungle. The whole picture was made up of dark blue and dark green combined with black color forming a picture of deep cool colors. I like the characteristics of watercolor pigments which can depict rich details with simple colors.

I have been an admirer of wild life in South Africa as well as a nature photographer. It was becoming more and more difficult to get good sightings of cheetahs as they as a species had been under pressure and were declining in number.
