ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2019 Submission
This piece was created live at a recent art show I attended in Arizona and was created with mixed media watercolors and acrylics. For many years the show had an attending wildlife artist who painted many endangered species and was an advocate for their preservation and depiction in art. This artist had a great impact on those around him and was a tremendous addition to the art community. Sadly we lost this artist suddenly to a heart complication and his loss was felt greatly by myself and others. Believe it or not this artists last name was LOVE and he loved art and animals. I created this art as a fundraiser for his memory, but also as an enjoyable art piece for those who love and want to preserve our endangered species. A portion of all proceeds from this print went to the foundation created in his name.
