ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2020 Submission
Karen Powell is an award-winning artist who has been painting since she was a child. Her impressionist oil paintings cover many subjects, but her love of the outdoors shows in most of her paintings. She has studied with many professional artists when living in Denver, CO for 19 years. Moving back to the Pennsylvania, she spent a few years painting but had to stop when her mural business took off. Powell Studios murals can be seen in many schools, restaurants and homes locally and in other states. She is back to following her true passion of oil painting. Her artwork is included in private and corporate collections nationwide and she has been in many juried shows locally and nationally.
